Some of the movie’s narrative requires viewers to have an advanced knowledge of theoretical physics to comprehend what exactly is going on – it get’s unnecessarily confusing and incoherent at some points.

There’s absolutely no need to show a 20 minute montage of the distant world’s futuristic architecture. A young girl get’s a mysterious pin that transports her to another universe, we get it. The next half-hour is pretty tiresome and difficult to endure the movie’s inciting event is unnecessarily long.
The first 10 minutes of the film are pretty unsubstantial and could have probably been completely omitted. If it does make it to production, you get something like the sci-fi, adventure movie, Tomorrowland. If a film – or more specifically, the screenwriter – cannot accomplish this, the movie will have a hard time getting made in the first place. The moviegoer’s interest must be piqued just enough to get them involved in the story. In that short timespan, viewers are introduced to the movie’s main premise and must be able to connect with the film’s main characters. Starring Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy and George ClooneyĪ filmmaker has about 10 minutes to grab the audience’s attention.
